I started a similar thread to this on the PJ Message Pit and I am interested in your thoughts/reactions. I am going to do a weekly Power Rankings of the Top 10 and Bottom Five teams in baseball throughout the Major League Baseball season. I have done this for the last two weeks on the PJ Message Pit and I will post those rankings for you all to see here. I would love your responces.

Tell us more about how you used to be in the PJ Message Pit. I don't think you've really mentioned that yet.

You were the dude who said Halladay should start over Rogers in the All-Star game... that was not a wise decision.

What? The Phillies are one of the hottest teams in baseball right now... that's a bad list... and the Red Sox aren't playing all that great either... and the Marlins are like 1-10 in their last 11 games or something... shitty, shitty list.

Is this your opinion? Are you pulling this from the sports section of your local newspaper? What?

yup.

that is one of the worst lists i have ever seen. The Braves and Marlins have been playing like shit. The Red Sox are sub par. The Rangers have lost 4 in a row.

and the Phils are 13-2 in their last 15.

Terrible list. White Sox not #1???

The Braves shouldn't be anywhere near the top 10.

This should have stayed over at Synergy.

What are these ranking based on? Just a teams won-loss record? Anyone can make these rankings if thats the case. Just look at the standings and pick out the 10 best records and the 5 worst records.

Just because the White Sox have the best record in baseball does not mean they are the best team in baseball right now.

The Padres are 3-7 in their last 10, yet the Phils are 9-1. And no way are the Rangers #7 after losing 4 in a row.

People- The first list is a week and a half old! I put the date that it was made at the top of the page! The second list was compiled on Thursday of this week! Notice the first thing I said on the post: "Obviously a lot changes in a week."!!! Don't get your panties in such a bunch!

The second week is much more in depth. More explination to why each team is where they are.

I hope you are all a little more tame then these posts suggest and I just cought you at a strange time. WOW.

If you think that you are so fuckin smart why don't you put together a list! Most likely everyone will think your idea of a perfect list is horse shit too. Get over yourself.

I'll have you know Cal is very respected around these parts.

Thats great. I am sure he is. He can still be an ass hole. And he can still be wrong. I know he has 2000+ posts, but big deal. Anyone can sit at their computer all day long and spew out a bunch of nothing and eventually have 2000 posts.

You are welcome to your opinion. That is what lists are all about. There is just no reason to be a dick.

Actually, once you have 2000+ posts, you have the go-ahead to do just that. That's how the hierarchy works around here. I know it's odd, but you'll get used to it.
