anyone have MK : deadly alliance for the ps2?
i know from past MK games that it's full of codes and cheats and crap,
so now instead of having to go through the game zillions of times to earn those "kurrencies" to buy characters, can you please teach me some cheats or something to unlock them?
Ever since I first saw MK2 in 1993, I've been hooked. My favorite MK game is the most recent one, Deception. I love picking Shao Kahn (I have the Gamecube version) and just beating the f*ck out of everyone else.

I'm a Genesis guy as well, but MK2 for SNES is probably the most successful one. It's nearly arcade-perfect. The controls are easy, and it contains a ton of hidden stuff. I'm pretty sure that was the peak of the MK craze.

Yes, that is true. I personally think that this order applies because MK2 had so much sedimental value. I mean, everyone played it, we spent at least $10 on it at arcades back then, and would invite friends over and play it for hours on a friday night.
I think MK2 was the most balanced of the games. Of course it's come a long way, and of course Deception is a better game. But ask yourself what means more to you: Mario64 or Super Mario 3?

i used to spend rolls of quarters on 2 in the arcade..id hit the mall every day for like an hour to play until it came out for genesis..i have it on a ps1 disc..i still pop it in from time to time..
wed be in the arcade playing each other for like $5 - 10 a game..it got nuts..

Still a tough call for me between Mario 3 and Mario 64. I'm teetering on the fence....just don't know which way I'll fall.

Mario 64 was groundbreaking.
SMB3 was (is?) the most polished and best platformer of its (all?) time.
I'll have to go with SMB3 since it transends time and Mario 64 hasn't seemed to age gracefully.

super mario world is a superior platformer to 3

I never really loved SMW. Don't know why? I'd take SMB3 over SMW anyday.
