On an NL West note:

Have you seen the Rockies road record??? It's like 4-30. Guess you can't blame Coors Field for everything.

Dude, most teams would KILL to have someone as good as Brazoban as their PRIMARY closer. He's you're back up.

Why don't you bitch about their horrific rotation instead :)

Yhency Brazabon is good for a while, but hes no where near Gagne. I watched him blow some easy games early on in the year, he has a tendancy to lose control if he doesnt get the first guy out.

And its not even that Braz wont do a good job closing games, its the SHIT that takes over the set up roll. Dirty Duaner Sanchez and Steve Schmoll and Gio Carrerra are just plain horrid, as is Erickson and Kelly Wunch.....

why a year and a half PJ Guy? It's just ligament damage right?

Hey, at least it's not 3/5's of your starting rotation.

Oh well, the braves are interesting again as there were 7 rookies starting the other night due to all the injuries.

hey Pac, Gagne is seeing Dr. Jobe on tuesday to confirm its a 2nd degree tear in the elbow....1st degree is rest and rehab, 2nd degree is the dreaded TOMMY JOHN SURGERY.....

12-18 months of rehab, which likely means at the earliest Gagne would really start to throw and throw MLB type of stuff is early 2007. At least thats what was reported the other day.

I see Hudsons on the DL...tough break man. My guys are not doing so hot, last night it was Lowe giving up 8 to the royals....and Im wondering when that fat sissy Odalis Perez is going to come back.

I'm cool with it, our team is aging getting old and not making any money. 13 years of division dominance can't last forever (or can it) They are still above 500, we get to see all kinds of good rookie prospects that I hope they don't trade away. Sure they are coming up a bit early but they are fun to watch.

I wish it was that way in LA, the dodgers have all of these "cant miss superstar" types in the minors, only they are in A and AA right now.

Andy Laroche, brother of the Adam, just got a call up to AA after finishing the first half of A ball with a .321 BA and 21 home runs....this kid is supposed to be the next big thing at 3B

been a dodger fan all my life, so I am a realist. There arent going to be any world series rings in LA this year anyway, so the injuries are not necessarily crippling. Antonio Perez seems like he has some talent, but there will have to be upgrades at 3B, 1B, C, and the rotation before they can take out teams like the Cardinals in the NL.

The Dodgers will be fine without the Big E. Brazoban is a better replacement than many other teams' first options.

yeah AS but the real problem is they cant GET to brazaban ,ost of the time. the middle relievers and now set up men are complete shit.

Brazabon would be fine if Sanchez and Cararra werent in the game before him.

well if we believe the Dodgers master plan and these prospects pan out, 3B will belong to Andy Laroche, Antonio Perez will be at 2B, this wont happen but this James Loney kid would be at 1B(he is way overhyped by the team) and the "next miguel cabrera" Joel Guzman will be in the OF somewhere.....

i knew that nice start the dodgers had at the beginning of the season was too good to be true. now they have to go to chicago(sox), san diego, and anaheim. shit could get alot worse. now rumors are starting up that since jim tracy wasnt hired by mccourt/depodesta he is gonna get fired

Lunkin, I read it either in the LA times or register. It said for tommy john surgery rehab is usually 12-18 months. IF Gagne has the surgery lets say, all star break, 18 months is the start of 2007.....so you gotta figure early to mid 2007 for Game Over to happen again :(
