Is this the Katie Holmes movie where she's hosting her family for Thanksgiving or something?

Yeah.

I've always heard good things from the few people I've talked to that have seen it. I'll have to give it a look.

I loved that movie too. It was the only one sitting by itself on one of the movie shelves and I grabbed it thinking "what the hell". I'm glad I did.

Good movie. I actually forgot I was watching Katie Holmes...she does a good job. Patricia Clarkson is very good as her mother, and I think she was nominated for an Oscar for the role. Good ending, too...very poignant.

Just watched it tonight. Thumbs up, from me. Great storytelling, all around. I do believe Katie Holmes has the ability to be a great actress. As long as she doesn't go wacko.

Empire Records is just horrible. Benny and Joon wasn't bad though. I have heard good things about Pieces of April, I had completly forgotten about the movie though. Need to check it out. Another reccomendation that has nothing to do with the previosly mentioned titles, I caught Grave of the Fireflies last night, a really good animated Japanese flick.

Yeah, surprisingly enough, Katie Holmes CAN actually act sometimes! Whoda thunkit?? Her taste in men needs a dramatic overhaul though...
What's the verdict on Batman Begins?
Val Kilmer bad, or are things actually starting to look up??

Just watched it last night. It was a little slow, but the end definitely made the movie for me. Very poignant.
