 Post subject: String MSGBOX_CANT_FIND_EREG_FILE was not found in string

Hi, guys

I'm new to this forum, I'm trying to install battlefield vietnam but I am getting this error message mentioned above, there is a solution on this forum to clean the cd, but I have tried installing from the cd and the files on my hard drive, but none works I keep getting this message in both cases, so plz help if you can. thanx

There is something wrong with your disk. Put the bad disk in the drive, right click and open it so you can see all the files. Save them individually, except for the "EREG" file. Then, put the second disk in, right click, and save the "EREG" file from that disk. Now, burn all of these files to a new disk, and install.

Thanks for the help, I was about to give up on playing battlefield Veitnam but I went back to the game shop and exchanged it and got the one that is working now, but I just paid some extra money to get this new one which is fine, no it's all fine, just had a bad copy of it that was it.
