I swear to god this guy is the most useless analyst/announcer/whatever the hell he is, that has ever been... he only shows up on ESPN when they're talking about the SF Giants and Barry Bonds and he only says stupid shit like "Barry Bonds is still not feeling good, something that has not changed in five billion years," and "I'm a stupid asshole who can't take on a full role as a sports analyst because my head moves too much and I look like somebody took a shit on my face." Where the hell would we be if we didn't know what Bonds was doing everyday? But our savior Pedro Gomez is here to inform us that Barry Bonds scratched his ass last week while watching Oprah.

Thank God for Pedro Gomez. Without him, ESPN would be lost.

I was, yeah. He's always like, "Bonds came to the park today and worked out for 5 minutes and then left. Bonds was limping."

I mean, no shit dude... and nobody CARES that Bonds worked out for 2 seconds.

there's really not much about ESPN I like these days.

Kruk, Morgan, Gammons, and Reynolds are all idiots.

I'm reposting something that I posted a couple weeks ago. I was trying to start a thread and accidentally posted to a TO thread........

Whats the deal with Pedro Gomez, the reporter on ESPN who moves his head around nonstop while talking?

Does he only get to report on Barry Bonds and the Giants? Did they send him out one day and say, just stay there and we'll call you when we need some Bonds info? They really need to get this dude something else to do.

Maybe not, I can't stand looking at the guy, maybe its better that he's only on once a week to tell us Barry's knee is feeling better.

I started out hating Stephen A. Smith, but for some reason he's starting to grow on me. Most of what he says is still useless, but his delivery is hysterical. kind of like Chris Rock at times. I've been checking out his espn radio show, and it's pretty funny - as long as you don't take what he's saying too seriously.

gammons is what I'd call a good "reporter", but he sucks as an analyst.

The 2 things I don't need is to hear "Say hello to my little friend" and "I got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell"......both done rather poorly.

do you mean he sucks at being on TV, or he sucks at analyzing baseball?

The best thing about ESPN is Bill Simmons.

No one has mentioned Chris Berman yet? That guy's act was stale 10 years ago. I love watching NFL Primetime, but I can do without all of the lame-ass nicknames, singing, and high pitched "woops".

There isn't anyone I really like on ESPN except John Buccigross, and now they don't even have hockey anymore. But there aren't really any other options, so I guess I'm stuck with it.

he's fine on TV, but his opinions are usually lame. He's plugged in to just about everyone, so his information is usually good, but when he attempts to put his own spin on things, he's not as good.

I'm sure he'd be a cool guy to have a beer with or whatever, but as an analyst, he's lacking.
