Stern but appropriate. Like they said, Baylor saved itself from the death penalty by inflicting a lot of it's own damage, and playing no non-conference games for this year really isn't that big a big deal. Coach Scott Drew is a hell of a guy and an even better recruiter so I don't think playing however many games against only Big 12 teams is going to hurt his recruiting, especially with the Big 12 being the Big 12. I just hope some of the guys that committed verbally don't take it back just because of this. I don't think it will come to that but I guess you never really know.
Apparently the corruption in the men's basketball program went pretty deep. I understand Bliss has caught a lot of the flack but I place the blame solely on the shoulders of former President Robert Sloan. The guy placed way too much effort on getting Baylor to another level of University that he fucked up a lot of things, one of them being his turning a blind eye to the basketball program. The good news is that the second Sloan resigned in January, all of his lackeys did too. It looks like we'll have fresh new management and be able to begin restoring the B-Ball program the correct way.
