I went down to the ymca on the westside of town tonight and gerald was there playing ball. I got into the game and played with him. He's freaking amazing. Discuss.

i can not stress how amazing he was tonight. i guarded him a little bit, he was just unbelievable.
i'm surprised there aren't some draft camps he'd be at right now. i've heard he's possibly a top five pick, probably a top ten. but still, this close i'd think he would be trying to improve his stock as much as he can, though maybe he's just between workouts or maybe all that stuff is already over. what's the competition like at the ymca you went to?

it's pretty stiff, one of the best places on the westside.

At our local YMCA, they drained the pool because the levels were way off and found then there was a thin pink layer of film on the tiles of the pool, and it turned out to be fat that had dissolved off of peoples bodies because the chemical levels were so high.
The moral of the story: never swim at the YMCA.
Then they told me I wouldn't get any more hours because I'm a student and not available enough even though I had worked ever Saturday and Sunday for the last 4 years and the odd Friday night shift.
The moral of the story: the YMCA can kiss my ass.

So the fat dissolved through people's skin? This sounds highly questionable.

I think the best players I've competed against were probably Curtis Borchardt and Luke Ridnour...Borchardt is no Gerald Green, but Ridnour was freakin' dominant in high school.
