Is it strange that I find your statements carry more legitimacy when spoken by a towel with a bong than by Mr. Met?

Mr. Met scares me. I took a wrong turn at Flushing Meadows and was walking all around the place and then I looked down a hallway and Mr. Met was outside talking to people. I felt like I was on acid.

You know what's really scary? If you hauled off and kicked Mr. Met in the nuts, he'd still have that stupid fucking smile on his face.

That sounds like a good thread for the Sports forum.

I suppose a hornet is fine, but what does it have to do with Columbus, Ohio OR Blue Jacket soldiers?

The number of mascots that don't make sense far outnumbers the ones that do. I mean, I never knew Gorillas were native to Arizona.

Has anyone else seen the thing on the Shea diamond-vision where Mr. Met shows up un-announced on a fan's doorstep?? How scary would that be.

I'm a die hard Met fan but our mascot sucks ass.
