Did anyone see the extended trailer on the NBC family of networks last night? I meant to watch it, but I completely forgot. How was it?

Gotta say, on first glance I'm thinking Jack Black is poorly cast.

Also, isn't it a rule of thumb to NOT show the main creature in the trailer - especially the first one?

I only saw the advertisements for the trailer.

I remember that strategy was used with Godzilla and the movie was absolutely terrible...anyway we all know what King Kong should look like...a giant Gorilla...so I don´t know if showing it or not was a big deal for the people that made the trailer...(I haven´t seen it yet)

I'm not sure about that, but his voiceover in the trailer wasn't very effective.

Yeah, I was surprised by PJ blowing his Kong load this early.

Looks alright. I'm usually not a big fan of trailers of action movies because there is way too many action shots given away in the trailer and you don't get much story.

I'm 100% sure that they aren't real dinosaurs.

Saw the trailer at the movies today and I thought it looked great. As for the dinos looking poor - T-Rex looked great. Other dinos seemed to be lacking texture. I think it'll look fine by the release. I thought Kong himself looked terrific.
