I liked it, but Cheers and Taxi were much better.

Wonder Years may never come out on DVD because of all the music throughout the eposodes. The rights, liscensing, etc., of the music is what has held up the creation of the DVDs thus far.

That's what held up the release of Freaks and Geeks to DVD. Their producers were eventually able to find a way to make it happen (without cutting out any of the songs), so I'm hopeful that a show as popular as the Wonder Years will be able to get it done too.

but the OC is so commercial, they likely only pick songs that they can aquire the rights to. I imagine thats going to be for every show going forward...

but back when they made the wonder years, they picked the best songs, not just the best songs they could afford- they never counted on selling them on DVD

oh, i disagree my friend. while the last couple of seasons may not have been the best, it was still one of the best shows on television. it also had one of the best last episodes ever.

Im not commenting on the quality or anything of the music...

im just saying that they probably secure deals ahead of time (before including it) because they know it will have to be included on the DVDs

This article is a little bit old, but it talks about what was already mentioned above. I haven't heard anything about it since then.

Winnie was a choice piece of ass, but not as hot as Tapanga from Boy Meets World.
