I think the Hillenbrand/Blalock choice is closer than most people are giving credit for. Blalock has probably been a bit better, but not by much at all.

I feel that the AL team is vastly superior to the NL team. Rolen, Eckstein, Edmonds, and Beltran didn't deserve to be on the team and they're all starting.

No kidding. Although Duchscherer has been dominant in the setup role. He's their only player having a great season, but middle relievers don't have much of a place in the all star game. Let's say I pay $100 to go see the All-Star game in Detroit and my favorite player is my hometown favorite Colorado Rockie Brian Fuentes. So I shouldn't be upset that Brian Fuentes is not there because "its for home field advantage" and all the best players are the only ones who should play??? In that case unless your team is above .500, they shouldn't even be allowed to play.
Yeah like the Rockies even know what World Series means.
