I like a little bit of flavor with my commentary, but I don't like it when it gets in the way of commentary.

I never found his humor to be funny. Now this new generation of SC hosts try to be "funny". I guess I am just getting too old.

That football he took to the left eyeball a couple years ago nearly did the job.

Is there a news story about that somewhere? I'd like to see the entire thing

Oddly enough, there seems to be barely any information available regarding what happened.

I don't mind a little flavor myself, when it turns to flava I draw the line.

There was a time when Stuart Scott & Rich Eisen was the best Sportscenter duo, ever.

Stu had his moment in the sun, but his act is pretty tired now.

*wishes Kenny Mayne would come back*

Everyone knows that Patrick and Olbermann was the best of all time and will never, ever be topped.
Maybe Kilborn and Patrick come close.

He does special consulting stuff for ABC and ESPN still... he covers horse racing and golf a lot

The Mayne-Patrick connection in the mid-90's was the best SportsCenter has ever seen, and judging by the new crop (Neil Everett and Steve Berthuieume both suck) may ever see
