I don't know if the PJ fans here know yet, but Red Sox pitcher Bronson Arroyo will be releasing his studio album next week. He covers both PJ and Temple - "Black" & "Hunger Strike" and also, Foo Fighters, STP among others.

I've heard "Hunger Strike", and it stinks to high heaven. But I figured some might be interested in knowing or maybe none at all.

I met Bronson Arroyo in St. Louis and hung out with him for like 15 minutes. Cool guy and a big PJ fan. I asked him about the CD, he said he was surprised he got a record contract and it was all just for fun. I got the impression he didn't take it too seriously. I've heard blackand it's not that bad. I asked if he's got to go backstage he said everytime their in town he they're out of town. He said he had played with McCready some when he is in town. He said it was a lot of fun.

Looks like Scott Stapp.

And why's he in an empty ballpark? Could've at least made it cool and had it filled up.

Yeah, they could have just as easily done the PR shot before a game. Although, maybe he is showing his other side. Also, maybe he is showing that his music career will be full of playing infront of an empty venue.

WFAN interviewed arroyo on his CD and musical career the other day and they asked the following question:

Sid and Joe: “Did you actually have to live the lifestyle of a Scott Wieland or an Eddie Vedder to pull this thing off? Curt Cobain?”

hmmm which one doesn't fit?

then they went on to compare the sox and yanks and the team attitudes blah blah blah...

and NO i did not get his cd, nor will i
