Well, there's been speculation on whether or not he died. This certainly doesn't end it, as it could have been taped long ago and set aside for the elections. Either way, it makes me wonder, "Why is this sorry fucker still around, when his head should be atop the White House flagpole?"

Watching the CBS news about the tape, its kind of frightening to hear all the places he COULD be. Basically, he could be hiding safely with any group of muslim followers in Asia. Thy said he could even be hiding in Western China. FUCKING CHINA?!?! Who do you think this tape is going to help and who it is going to hurt for the election, or do you even think there will be any impact at all?

Why hasn't he been pulled out dead or alive yet? He should be in American hands in the next 72 hours...
Read the transcript, kinda odd.

do you mean that the media doesn't declare to be true or admit the existence or reality or truth of bin laden's reasoning? all media, by the very nature of what media is, acknowledge the existence and reality of bin laden's reasoning when they translate, print, broadcast, and interpret his messages...some media go as far as declaring bin laden's reasoning to be the truth. maybe i don't understand what you mean by "acknowledge."

Bin Laden suggested Bush was slow to react to the Sept. 11 attacks, giving the hijackers more time than they expected. At the time of the attacks, the president was listening to schoolchildren in Florida reading a book.
"It never occurred to us that the commander-in-chief of the American armed forces would leave 50,000 of his citizens in the two towers to face these horrors alone," he said, referring to the number of people who worked at the World Trade Center.
that bin laden is a mf'er but he is right on that one.

Isn't he supposed to be relying on a dialysis machine for life support?
Our intellegence sucks ass. But what do you expect when our president has the intellegence of an aborted fetus.

yeah, bush knew sept 11 was going to happen so he planned his day around not being at the penatgon or the airport to catch the highjakers....give me a break...must you people blame Bush for everything? What makes you think Bush would start a war and then think twice about shooting bin laden in the back.... The guy is obviously being harbored by a country who doesn't want him to be found. I can't wait until Nov 3rd so I can stop hearing about "John Kerry will do this and that..."

damn right...you'll be able to see and hear John Kerry actually doing "this" and "that."

If he were to win (Hypothetically)....I would love to see what he has planned. See if he can "Put his money where his mouth is". I am not that partisan to say that I don't want to see an American President to suceed. In a time of war I really don't think that someone that betrayed his commrades is really going to lead a agressive war on those who wish to harm us.
And Darkstar....I respect your opinions (I don't agree) but, hopefully you can be man/ mature enough to respect mine. Thanks

You say that all media go as far as to declare bin laden's reasoning as truth...mainstream media? I've yet to hear it, but I don't watch as much mainstream media as I used to so you could be right.
Watching CNN today, none of the issues Bin Laden brought up were really discussed. They had more to say on how he looked, where he was, if the tape was real and so on. I disagree with his methods obviously, but I can't disagree with everything he says. But why listen to him and try and understand his reasoning when we can just kill him and go on as before.
I tell you..i can't wait until this war on terrorism is over with, whew, i'm sure we'll all look back on this in a year or two...or a fifty and say, thank god there is no more terrorism. We wiped it out and we didn't even have to change the way we live. Let's embark on a war against jealousy next, then a war against all yucky people who live near large reserves of oil.
So how about that Ashlee Simpson eh?

sf13...i was being light hearted...hence the wink. I respect your opinions...even if they are wrong ( )...again...light hearted. I don't think John Kerry betrayed his commrades...I've seen the TV ads and read articles on the Swift Boat for Veterans campaign...it's all a ruse if you ask me. It's not just Bush's war that turns me off...it's also his attitude towards the middle class and environment that I have a problem with. But hey, in 2000 I voted for Bush...by voting for Nader. If I only knew then what I know now.
Oh, you mean mainstream media...for a minute i thought you meant all media...that clarifies things.
In regards to going on with life...not having to change the way we live...I am reading your sarcasm...but there is truth to it...and it's also not true either. My life has changed since 9/11...I wouldn't say for the better. But Americans don't really directly feel the effects of the war on terror as other wars have altered the American life (WWII rationing, etc.)..of course, those who have loved ones in the "theater" of war are directly affected...shit...how could we have a tax cut in the middle of a war (Ted Koppel brought this up on NPR the other day...)?
