Yes she is, and the movie is pretty average. It got a lot of good buzz, but there just wasn't much to it.

Anyone grow up in the church? This nailed my pre-teen/teen experience. I laughed my ass off.

That school was so much like my church camp, I had convulsions during some of the scenes.

I went to Episcopal and Baptist private schools from K through 8th grade, but I pretty much zoned out during chapel and bible class. I was actually able to have it jammed down my throat for years without retaining a single thing. I can remember two hymns, and something about a whale. It never was nearly as in your face as the movie Saved, but I never particapated in retreats or Sunday school. Jesus must hate me, because he never even tried to be in my heart.

I think of this as like a teenage Dogma.

I thought it was okay, kinda funny, but nothing spectacular.
All my friends and family that went to catholic school, thought it was fucking hysterical.

I saw a similar thing with dogma.

Mandy Moore > Jenna Malone.

Did anyone see J.M. on Punk'd? :? She didn't look that great to me. Mandy Moore on the other hand...

Love mandy moore as an actress, and I'm way impressed that she hasn't gone hoebag like most of the teen chick actresses
