in the aftermath of some terrible terrorist attack on your country how would you respond differently?
I'll use Sept 11th since I am in the US.
I would not invade Afghanistan or Iraq. My first move (after obviously doing all that is possible to help out NYC and DC and Pennslyvania) would be to military leaders to call soldiers to the ready and deploy them at the borders throughout airports and near all public transportation, through safety checks, bomb dogs, profiling etc reminding the public that all islamics are not terrorists discouraging vigilantism Do everything possible to ensure the safety of the nation against those who would do it harm both foreign and domestic. Second, find out the direct economic impact and try to encourage growth as well as rebuild the pentagon. Third, seceretly and quietly train special squads to infiltrate terrorist organizations to find out exactly what's going on and then to assinate all those who would do harm to the United States or other nations eliminating the scores of civilian casulties that occur and the titanic cost of an invasion, while simultaneously using diplomacy to deal with the United Nations and the rest of the world. Fourth bolster local emergency services and make sure every major US city has a disaster plan and have competent people in charge should something major happen.
Obviously there is more, I just thought this would be a fun thread to start.

I wouldn't respond "differently". I would investigate and try to catch the perpetrators and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law, and I would not give them the media attention they crave (don't think these mother fuckers don't totally get off on all the hype and drama the major networks roll hour after hour into the ground, because without knowing any of them its easy to believe that they fricking love the attention as it justifys their actions in their own matre minds). I would not start stripping away the Civil and Constitutional Rights of my nation based on the fuck up actions of a 1-gazillionth of a percent of the population. And I would kick all of the special interest groups out of Washington and make it a crime to accept money from any of them in turn for legislation that represents only their interests and not the greater good of the nation.
Yeah, grand sweeping statements, I know. I'm in no position to come down from the 100,000 mile high level to elaborate so don't bother asking me to. I'm simply answering the question with my opinion - others mileage will vary to be sure.....

I get it. Genius really. We are the bowl, and the sky and the reflection aren't really there, they just represent energy. So we are surrounded by energy, and once we grasp that, then we will cease being the bowl and all terorrism will end.

FUCK.
I'd make the middle east a big fucking glass bowl. Get it? Do you see the sand and the glass? Jesus.
Does that mean you'd nuke Mecca and turn the whole desert into a sheet of radioactive glass? Me too.
Yeah, your explanation is slightly more confusing than the original picture.
