i've been trying to hook up to xbox live here lately and it won't work. It worked fine before, but all of the sudden it decides to stop. The message i get reads as follows....
"DNS NOT FOUND:
No DNS Server addresses were received from the DHCP or PPPoE server. Enter the DNS Server proided by your ISP in the Network Settings menu."
Customer service with my ISP suuuucks and i've been trying to reach them for days and never can. What should I do?

If you currently have the Xbox set to obtain DNS automatically, try manually entering the primary and secondary addresses (you'd have to get them from your ISP, or you can execute an 'ipconfig /all' via command prompt to get them. As always, reboot the modem, router and Xbox, in that order, after you configure it.

thanks for all your help, none of it worked though, but it's because my xbox is a piece. I've had it for six months and when i turn it on now it says, "See customer service..." and what not. So i guess i gotta call xbox? am i going to have to buy a complete new one after having this one for jus six months?
