Post subject: Creating small animation .gif files...

ok so I'm trying to make this kick ass sleater-kinney buddy icon that shows a picture of each girl separately then has this "I love sleater-kinney" text. I created it in ImageReady, saved it as an optimized .gif or whatever and it's too big for AIM. Any ideas on how to make it not as large? THank you
