Hello all my dear jammer buddies!!!
Seeing as the Message Pit is STILL down....seemed necessary to start arrangements for our next NYC jammer meet-up here on RM. If our beloved Pit shall return in the interim I will of course start a thread there as well.
***Official NYC Jammer Meet-up***Saturday November 20th***
dinner - Burrito Loco 5pm - PM dreamncolor if you plan to attend so that we can reserve a large enough table to accomodate us all.
drinking/convo until the wee hours - Fat Black Pussycat Bar - 8pm
great place - shall start off the eveing at the wooden booths in the back...possibly move on into the plush and comfy back room behind the curtains as the night progresses. do please show even late - we shall be there!!!
Spread the word for the meet-up...always great to have ever larger turn-out and to meet new jammers...the more the merrier!!! I look forward to seeing you all soon in NYC!!!

btw - I shall edit/update this first post with all pertinent information/changes as it arises.
Also - it would be truly wonderful if some of you regular RMers made it!!! Always welcome - great bunch of people - we ALL love meeting/getting to know fellow jammers.

How about the Burrito Loco again for dinner? That was
a good place last time, and it's got a big ass awning
out front that you can't miss. Except that I walked by
it a few times!
That way the pressure is off to find a place to eat.
And also, if we ALL eat Mexican food, we'll ALL have
hot pepper onion breath!

You can also drive in and park in a garage nearby. I did that when I went to Myhandsbound's book reading, and it only cost a thrifty $65.00 to park!

please do offer up your opinions on the restaurant and time. i am with bob - burrito loco is fine by me as well. maybe 5pm for dinner and *official* meet-up at the bar 8pm??? please offer comments......then we cna say so for certain.

hey kids....how are you all? not sure if i can make this meetup, i have an exboyfren who shares dreamns birfday, so theres a possibility he may be celebrating on said meetup night. but ill do my best to spread my social butterfly wings all over NY that night...keep me updated.

Hi all. I should be able to make it on the 20th...Yeah! As for dinner, Burrito Loco sounds good, and it takes the pressure off of me of suggesting another place! (dream, you know I hate the pressure!!!)

excellent. ha - didn't mean to *pressure* you. so then - we'll just stick with burrito loco for dinner - fat black pussycat for the rest of the evening.
i will edit first post with said info.....but times??? say - 5pm for dinner and 8pm for bar??? sound good to all???
do please PM if you plan on making dinner - this way we can get a head count together and make a reservation. last time i think we were about12 for dinner - the more the merrier!!! hope many can make it to the fat black pussycat even if you don't make dinner. last meet-up there me, soulsinging and who's-pearljam closed the bar!!! great fun - so we shall be there late - do please join us!!!
