Anyone else watch this show? I didnt tune in until a couple weeks ago when there was a marathon going on showing all the first season episodes. What a fantastically produced and written show. Perhaps the best sci-fi tv series I've ever seen (I'd even say just tv series in general). After watching this show, other shows I see on tv just seem boring or not up to snuff. They set a high bar.

I've heard nothing but great things about it, but have yet to watch a minute of the show. I'll have to put it on my to do list.

Yeah, I kind of didnt watch it at first because I was thinking "how good can a remake of a campy sci-fi show be?".
The answer?
Amazingly fucking spectacular.

Yeah, this is one of those shows where you really need to watch every episode to keep up (there really are not any "stand alone" episodes, each one starts where the last left off). This can be good because you get really into it, and bad because if you drop in half way through, you're lost.

Check out the episode guide here:

Those are typically the best kind of shows, and also the ones that get cancelled or fucked up because of idiot network execs. (Alias being the prime example.)

Some people call it the best show on TV. Maybe I'll start watching too.

I would say it's by far the best show on tv. In fact, it rates higher than most movies I've seen too.

If you have not watched the show before, you might be lost. If you have the ability, I would suggest downloading the 3 hour mini-series pilot off the net (I got it easily enough from eMule, just search for something like "battlestar galactica 2003 pilot"). You can also download season 1 episodes (I've seen most there too). Or you can try and wait for reruns or another marathon.

Did anyone else catch the Season Finale (I don't understand how they can call it a Finale when the Season resumes in January?)? Hell of a cliffhanger that I did not expect. I picked up season 1, so I hope I can now truly understand what the hell is going on.

cuz it's a midseason finale. i still need to see season 1, and the mini-series. but i got hooked on the first ep of this season. WOW. amazing. all those people who think it sucks cuz they changed the original stuff are whack. not to mention how much gets fit into an episode.

so who are the psylons that we know of?

WOW

Cylons were know of are: Sharon (Boomer); Number 6 and that's about it. There are supposedly some members of Galactica's crew that are cylons and there could be others in the mix as well.

and her showing the unused data to number 6 doesn't prove that?
