WOW...Steelers have themselves a Franchise QB

I can't wait to watch him grow into that offense!

He's picking up right where he left off in college

There are plenty of young QBs better than Vick. Vick will never live up to the hype.

Yup, Ben is very good. He looks like a veteran out there.

Vick is definitely overrated....guy hasnt played that many games....I don't think you can build a team around a QB who isn't gonna sit in the pocket for very long...though I love Donovan McNabb...and he's quite teh squirrel at times...

I can't wait until Billy finds this thread--if he hasn't already.

Big Ben is pretty damn good.

I think what was really impressive about Ben today was the fact that he got dinged up early and still played pretty well. I'm really pleased to see how he's coming along and I still believe that Ben's best football and the Steelers' best football is ahead of them.

That was a very good game today and Roeth played very well. Watch out for the Steelers in the next couple of years.

Yeah, definitely but a lot of teams had better watch out for them THIS year.

I agree. Thank goodness the Broncos aren't playing them in the regular season.

I got to watch the Steelers for the first time today...he was VERY impressive. Has great pocket presence and seems to have that "intangible" winning quality.

Absolutely. You know, I like Tommy Maddox as much as the next guy (probably more) but I'm glad to have Ben in there. He's getting the job done, they're winning, and he's learning more every week. Not many young quarterbacks have that luxury.

Yeah...I bet it's pretty exciting to be a Steelers fan now. I can't wait to see what JP Losman will do...but then there's always the chance he's the next Browning Nagle. Seems like such a crap shoot...but looks like the Steelers got a good one.

Yeah, I'm glad that he was around and not Rivers or Manning. Perfect guy for their system and it's paying off well so far.
