Phenomenal! A definite must-see movie. Vince Vaughn is PERFECT. Owen Wilson limps along but it's difficult to look bad when you have Vaughn as your side kick. This is one of the best movies I've seen in a theater in quite some time. I'm not a big fan of comedies because they usually fall flat or have most of their good jokes set up by the trailers. But this one delivered from start to finish.
Anyone else get to see this gem this weekend?

its the funniest movie i've seen in a while. i definitely have to see it again because some of the dialog is so fast that you're laughing and you miss shit. Vince Vaughn is hilarious, and i think Owen Wilson is perfect for his role. there are so many "one-liners" in this movie its sick- i can see a lot of them being used like the ones from Old School.

That whole scene at the wedding ... that could have happened at the engagement party and I could have gotten 40 minutes of my life back.

i do agree.......a little. but that was one scene. and movies like these have to have a bit of the cheese factor. the movie was only an hour and a half though- thats pretty standard.

But I mean all that stuff from Owen getting beat up at the party to the wedding, it was boring, not funny (not even Will Ferrell). If they'd have just had Owen confront her at the engagement party and had them fall in love, I would have liked the movie a lot more. And don't give me "character development," it's an Owen Wilson/Vince Vaughn movie ... I don't need to see the emotional trials that the characters went through.
I was impressed that there were no fart/diarhea jokes.

I thought it was the funniest movie i've seen since Anchorman. I usually HATE Owen Wilson, but he was pretty good in this role. I agree about the comment about having to see it again, because there were several times that you miss parts of the movie because you and everyone else in the theater is laughing. It is very rare that a movie comes along that makes EVERYONE in the theater laugh that hard. Although, the end of the movie kind of drags on, and the Will Farrell character made NO sense. It was basically Vince throwing him into the movie, since he has been in a lot of Farrell's movies. But I say everyone sees this film. I give it **** 4/5 stars.

I don't think I'd pay to see any of these guys' movies in the theater anymore. Maybe it's just me, but if it has Vince Vaughan and/or Owen Wilson in it, it's going to be awfully predictable. I can remember bits from their movies, but I couldn't tell you if the scene I remember is from Anchorman, Old School, Dodgeball, or what have you.

i thought the walken character was very lacking..i mean come on, it's walken, do more with him than that..and the ferrell one only generated a few laughs

Funny you should say that, The Notebook is sitting on my coffee table right now. There is no possible way I will ever watch it (unless Rachael gets nude) but if I have to sit through the Wedding Crashers to make my girlfriend happy, I'll do it. But, I hardly think Wedding Crashers is on the same level of crappiness as I suspect The Notebook is... at least I hope not...
She's gone to see Dimmu Borgir, Cryptopsy and Cannibal Corpse with me and she listens to electronica. I guess I can spend a couple of hours watching a stupid movie because she wants to go. Hell, I sat through a Keane show for her.
