let me preface this by saying that i'm very internet dumb so speak slowly and don't use big words

ok i got an email with a pic on it and when i save it to this computer it says it can only save in a .bmp format..but i want it in a .jpg format..how do i do this?

no i don't want it as a .bmp..i want it as a .jpg..but when i download the file outta my email and click save picture as, the only option is .bmp

What's your problem with bitmaps?


Save the file, then rename it with .jpg.

then download it as a bmp and save it. open it in photoshop and then save it as a jpg.

i don't have photoshop

i tried to save it as a jpg and it did..but it's only opening in Paint..and i dunno what to do with it then since i've never used Paint

i told y'all i'm internet dumb :evil:

use infranview instead of photoshop then.

i have it in photobucket as a bmp and when i try to post it here i can't..so i wanna try it in jpg format
