10 games for Hernendez....a little low i think
6 games for farnsworth...i think thats about right
and this really got me....5 for bonderman, he didnt even do anything and the ump cited his tossing from the game as being "aggressive" bonderman being aggressive got him 1/4 of what Rogers got for assault on the job and half of what hernendez got and almost what farnsworth got for tackling a guy for no apparent reason.

Hopefully there is something i missed.
Farnsworths Suspension is 3 times what Hernandez got. Which is gay. I guess maybe farnsworths neck soreness can heal.
and if they are going to suspend bonderman, it has to be for at least 5 games.

Im sure he did something they didnt really show, cause he looked like he had been involved based on how he looked afterwards, but the cameras were too focused on Farnsworth at the time.

johnny estrada got three games for being taunted by an umpire, go figure.
thats pretty fucked up right there
yeah, the ump got in his ear and yelled at him, then estrada stood up and said fuck you at the top of his lungs, got ejected, then got suspended.
i remember last year Tigers vs Yankees, when tram got tossed in teh beginning of a game or something..and pudge struck out and was going back to the dug out and the ump followed him and tossed pudge for laughing at him from the dugout for "showing him up" cuz the ump was looking for an argument

How about a couple weeks ago, when Kazmir hit a tiger in the first, and Robertson threw behind a guy- and got tossed without a warning...
and then kazmir threw behind another guy later and DIDNt get toss, even after the warnings had been issued.

i tossed a fan out of an eleven year old game a few weeks ago in the top of the first inning for telling me to come look at a video camera.

yeah the robertson thing was BS, but like the analysts said, if he thinks he did it on purpose thats all he needs....make your warnings and move on he had his chance to hit him and blew it, it would have been over and robertson may have pitched a CG and Percy wouldnt have given up the 7 mile homerun to blow it

The Bonderman suspension is BS. I was there, he didn't do anything except yell obscenities. People were restraining him the entire time, likely because they knew how important he is to the team and didn't want him suspended.

This reminds me of Kerry Wood's suspension last year for 5 games when he argued with an ump (he didn't swear, mind you) and, people at Wrigley being who they are when, after 9 innings of sitting in the bleachers drinking, they started to throw cups on the field. The official suspension -- "inciting fans."

I don't even know if Bonderman was vulgar, I'm just assuming based on the way he was yelling.
You reminded me of my favorite moment at Wrigley, though. Randy Myers' poster day. He comes in to close against the Giants. Gives up a few hits, score is tied. There's some rumblings among the crowd. Gives up the lead and...here come the posters. It was great. They didn't even make an announcement for people to stop.

The really shitty thing about the suspension is if you break it down to actual games Hernandez only will miss 2 starts so it's really a 2 game suspension where as Farnsworth is a relief pitcher and could have pitched in at least 4 of the 6 games he got. Bonderman got 5 games which is 1 start. So Hernandez, who is to blame for the whole incident even starting in the first place, gets 2 games while the Tigers lose their two most important pitchers for a total of 6 games. Fuck that. Bob Watson looks as if he is blaming the Tigers for this incident. Just to pour a little more salt into the would he fined Guillen who didn't do shit but try to defend his manhood.

Other than the insane reason to suspend Bonderman at all, I don't really disagree with the other suspensions. Maybe 3 starts for Hernandez would be nice, but Farnsworth definitely deserved to get the harshest penalty. The brawl had basically died down and players were dispersing when Farnsworth decided to play some tackle football.
