What does this mean? One of my friends is a devout muslim from Lebanon, his entire family is Shi'ite. This is how they explained it to me. It was much more elaborate but i hate typing. The middle east is like the united states but every state has a president. Arabs have segregation but it is based more upon religion. Many people hate our "way of life" because the weapons that kill their familes and tanks have Made In The USA on them. Because we support Israel so much Arabs believe we are anti-islam. This spreads very quickly. And it doesnt help that our weapons that we supply kill many innocent people. The people in the Middle East feel neglected for the most part and our foreign policy in Gaza and Israel is what drives most of the hatred rather than the fact we vote or can speak freely. They tie America to the weapons used and they consider THAT our way of life. And the fact they feel we are forcing ourselves on them also feeds the fire. Im sure most people are well aware of all of this but I like hearing from others and good discussions.
