 Post subject: Avatar help please!

Location: Small ass town in Indiana.....
I need help loading my avatar... i keep getting the "file size must be smaller than 10kb" message....PM me if you can help! Thanks in advance!

You need to use a photo editing softeware to resize the pic to 60x60 pixels. I use Ofice 2003's Microsoft Office Picture Manager. Adobe's Photoshop will do the trick to.

You can use IrfanView (it's freeware) for resizing the picture you want to be your avatar:

I'm getting the same friggin' problem and the board (I even tried loading a 1K avatar) still won't take mine. Note that this is the EXACT SAME avatar I used before the crash...

you can also use "stretch and skew" in microsoft paint to shrink down a picture...then just check the attributes until it says 60x60...
