As a Yankee fan this pains me horribly, but for my Brother's Bachelor Party I was going to get tickets for a Sox game, since he and the rest of the groomsmen are Sox fans. Looking on websites, they have "General Admission" tix listed. The question is, where is the General Admission section for Fenway?

right field roof i believe. If you get there early enough to get a perch, they're a great view. There's also standing room tickets, which means you just have to find space in the back. These usually suck, but for yankee games its cool to just be in the park.
and, being a yankee fan, you should be happy to be attending a game at the home of the world champions, just to get a reminder of what it's like to watch a winner

Hasn't Fenway been sold out for years? Can you even get single game tix at this point?
you have to get seats from somewhere like ebay.
i'm pretty sure they do hold a handful of seats to sell the day of the game.

sort of think of it like a pj show: it's sold out but a few randoms become available the day of. i've gotten everything from obstruced view to seats on the monster. depends on who they're playing, day of the week, etc. standing room is basically the very end of the grandstands from foul pole to foul pole. if you get there early enough and get a good spot it's a pretty good view. there's also s.r.o. up on the wall but your chances of getting those are, well, slim.

No shit?
I could swear I heard that stadium has been consistently sold out for a while now.
teams call games sellouts before full capacity is reached all the time.
citizens bank park called sell-outs all the time last year and had 500 seats per day of the game to sell.

Don't support that organization with your money. It's not right.

general admission will be for standing room. they do sell standing room for the monster and right field roof, but all those were sold via lottery at the beginning of the year. they do have some tickets the day of the game but people wait in line over the course of the day for those (weekend especially / big games).
