I have a picture. And I made two changes to it. And basically what I want to do is to have the user try and find those changes with his/her mouse. by clicking on the screen. And when they find it then a circle should appear around the change. Now my question is, how do I have those circles stay hidden until the user clicks on them?

I wish I did more work in flash. But what you're trying to do I think should be as simple as putting a mouseDown variable in the script for the object or scene. I dont have it right in front of me unfortunately, so I cant show you exactly. If nobody has posted later, I will try and help you out when I'm in front of it

yeah I kinda figured that I would have to use the mouseDown or a press variable on it. but I am not absolutely sure how to do so. any help would be much much appreciated.

Ok, so I got the pictures and the ovals drawn. Now I just have to figure out the Actionscript for the two ovals. To make then show up when clicked but other than that have them hidden. Can anyone help?

ok. well now i have gotten the ovals to not appear before they are clicked. however then I try and enter some actionscript on them. However when I go and view it the little hand comes up telling me I can click but when I click nothing happens.
What was the solve for this? I'm new to Flash, I just installed MX 2004 a few weeks ago but really need an online tutorial to get started. Anyone know a link I can use to learn MX?
