it should be on cable but if you go to a bar with 9 or more tv's it's a godsend

I remember reading 2 years ago that this was the last year, but I just was trying to find out if the NFL renewed the contract or anything. I'm guessing the NFL Network will be getting more involved with televising games otherwise why create an NFL Network in the first place?

far be it from me to question the NFL when it comes to making $$, but IMO it never made sense to me that they only sold the rights to this to Directv.

couldn't they have made much more $$ by selling the rights to all the cable systems out there??

That's such B***S***!!!! Why doesn't the NFL ask its fans what they want?? How many people want a f'ing dish attached to their house when they have perfectly good cable?? Grrrrrrr!!!!!

Cable. All the other major sports tickets are on cable, not a stupid f'ing dish.

Well, the good thing about it being on a dish is they can broadcast all the games in HDTV. If it was cable, I think you'd only get the local cable feed.

I really was under the impression the NFL was going to really do something special with the ticket after the DirectTV contract expired in 07, but I guess the NFL didn't want to invest the $$$.

Looks like the NFL ticket added a cool feature where you can watch 8 games at the same time. Of course it costs more to be a Superfan.

I went to the NFL Ticket site on NFL.com. I guess if you live in Canada or Mexico you can get the ticket through cable.

It sucks to be an Eagles fan in Colorado. I guess I'll have to go the bar again this year.
