anyone seen this yet? i did today and enjoyed it for what it was.
many times i was 100% convinced that i was looking at kurt cobain, then others i was thinking to myself 'that seems a bit far fetched or out of charcacter' for kurt.
im not sure if you can consider this a spoiler, so if it is let me know and i'll delete it, but when kurt is dead on the ground and it shows him leaving his body, climbing up the window naked, it really struck a chord in me emotionally. i thought that part was fantastic.
In five years, when you get laid and grow up, you should go back and read some of these posts and if you've turned into a decent person you'll realize how much of an asshole you sound like right now
Every time I see this title I think of that terrible book series about the end of the world. It's more popular than Harry Potter here in Texas.
i live in texas and do not know what you're talking about.
He's talking about the series "Left Behind" which is a propaganda tool used by dispensationalist christians who take the words of the book of Revelations literally. Some people think it's an acurate telling of what is to come in the end times. Others (like myself) think it's bull shit and try to yell at people that Revelations was a dream the John had, and dreams cannot be taken literally.

Thats because its not about Kurt Cobain, its just inspired by him in the same way that Elephant was inspired by Columbine, but not based on the actual events.

given the research and "soul searching" the actor did before the movie, its pretty much a given that every single thought/action taken by his character was justified in the sense that "kurt would do this" or "kurt would never do that"...

Strange movie. It was a lot of mumbling from Blake's side, but that was clearly intentional. But it seemed like he had a really hard time, and that bit at the end was beautiful.
Also enjoyed the Venus in Furs-scene, and seeing Kim Gordon is always nice.
