Might as well get a separate thread for this as well.

I'm especially interested in the South Dakota race.

Isakson is projected to win in Georgia. Expected Republican pickup there.

WOW.

Mongiardo, the Democratic challenger for U.S. Senate from KY, is up 55-45 over Bunning, the Republican incumbent.

Yeah, that one really closed up in the past week, and I had been watching it closely. Big loss for the GOP if Bunning goes down.

Maybe Bunning shouldn't have said that one of Mongiardo's sons looked like one of Saddam Hussein's sons.

Mongiardo's lead has shrunk to 53-47.

CNN.com has Republican George Voinovich defending in Ohio.

At least one race in Ohio is being called early.

The South Dakota race is particularly interesting, as is Bunning in KY.

Obama kicks Keyes's ass--no surprise there.

No net change in the Senate right now.

I'm really fucking worried about the N.C. Senate race. It's a hysterical horserace (Its so bad I'm getting into my Annoying Metaphorical Anchor mode, just like Tom Brokaw). One minute, Burr is in the lead then it's Bowles. Richard Burr is a very BAD man, he came to my school back when I was in third grade (back when he was just another Representative) and explained all the important things he does (Zzz, with his feet on the desk and hands behind his head). Anyway, he's like JFK gone really wrong, he looks up to Jesse (Fucking) Helms as an inspiration and received a 98% rating from the Christian Coalition.

DeMint's been called in South Carolina. Republicans up one in the Senate.

CNN: 96% precincts reporting:

Bunning: 851,377
Mongiardo: 832,435

20,000 vote difference--close, but looks like Bunning may hang on.

i saw the coming a mile away. It was pretty obvious months ago that Obama would probably win.

Oh I know.

The question was by how much. I was putting Obama at about 90%.
