just picked up tickets to see 'em at the Vic in Chicago on 10/22.

Looking forward to seeing them live for the first time.
Are they a "true" jam band live? I am not crazy about jam bands but like MMJ studio stuff so much i just have to check them out.

I picked up a couple tickets for the Boston show. I'm really looking forward to seeing them live. I hear they are amazing.

i saw them at state college for the VFC, i didn't really know what they were saying, but they were rocking pretty nicely. I've always ment to go out and try and find an album since then, but never got around to it.

it seems that everyone says how much "they rock" in their live shows - but the majority of their studio songs are quite mellow. are the live versions that much different from the studio?
