A couple fo weeks ago some dude in a Budweiser truck hit my car. It was totally his fault and his boss didn't want to go through insurance. So i took the car to get an estimate at some body shop where i knew they would jack up the price. The estimate comes to $1,100. The Budweiser dude writes me a check. I take the car to my friend who owns a gas station. he tells me he'll fix the dent for $150. $950 in my pocket! The wife and i decided to split the money and do what we want with it. She's going shopping for clothes and i'm putting the money in my betting account. Wohoo!

I feel sorry for the poor guy who had to pay $1,100.

i don't, he fucked up my car cause he sucked at driving. I should have made him throw in 10 cases of Budweser too.
Yeah, that should probably be a common way to handle this problem.

Good scam Clubber. I would have done the same. I'm sure the guy wouldn't have been willing to cut a cheque for that much if it wasn't going to be beneficial to him too.

$1,100 to Budweiser is like a penny on the sidewalk to us. I dont feel bad for them at all.

Actually people do this sort of thing a lot because while it might be more expense up front, you save money on your insurance going up in the long run. I'm not sure what the implications of having it happen at work would be, but I would say the same principals still apply.
It definitely beats the last time I got hit. Fucking bitch rear-ended me on New Year's Eve, had to deal with the cops which was unpleasant for a number of reasons and it turns out her insurance was fake. Good news is the next time she gets pulled over she's going to find out there's a warrant out for her. Huzzah!

Yeah, seriously. That was a really dick thing to do.
He ran into my car, he's the dick who shouldn't be driving that truck. He turned into a parking lot right into my car, it was the worst driving i've seen in awhile. I'm sure he didn't get fired. And if he did then that's his problem for not knowing how to drive. You guys are just jealous

Yeah, but then you're the dick who billed him for more than 7x the amount it actually cost to fix your car.

Nah. If I wanted to steal, I'd go through less elaborate means.
