i am listening to katowice ii version for the 4th time @ work right now..and am again captured by this song...such an awesome song.

man i wanna hear it live!

any other good versions you guys like?

My favorite is still the studio version. They really nailed the mood of the song. When they do it live, they usually speed it up slightly, and I really like the song slightly slower as in the studio take.

I've never really liked it live. It's missing something...maybe just Neil.

Anyways, I do think they could pull off a pretty cool acoustic version of this song.

yeah it loses something when they speed it up. holmdel wasnt too bad though, i have to say

The version on Touring Band is amazing. The Boston '03 version was nasty too, but I may be biased since I was there.

yeah the studio version really captures passion and the mood. the whole merkinball e.p is really good. The bridge in long road sounds so atmospheric its amazing

the first time i heard the song was live at scotland, but i have to say the studio version is the best. Not many songs are better in the studio but this one is

I really like it live,
but I have to agree that the studio version is just perfect.

Really hope to hear that one live in Canada, is in my top-5 of must-hear songs.

I'm partial to the Pittsburgh 2000 version.... amazing vocals and it's right at the start of disc2... also followed by an awesome Black, then Porch....
