I kept one or two pix of my ex. Just stuck 'em in a keepsake box in my file cabinet. My husband's got a pic or two of his ex in there too. The rest of them (and there were a LOT cuz I'm a camera nut) I just picked through and either cut him out or threw the pic away entirely...just depended on what was in the rest of the pic. I actually didn't do this 'til fairly recently, about a year ago. They were all in photo albums and "out of sight, out of mind," I guess. Just don't do anything when you're mad.
...Of course, my exes that I was never real serious with, I'm still friends with them, so I have a few scattered pix here and there of each of them.

I don't know if it was a bitter break-up, I am assuming so if you are thinking about throwing them away.
Don't throw the pics out, try putting it in the back of a drawer that you rarely access. You'll forget about it and when you come across it later down the road you can laugh about it.
