19 losses in a row.
thiree or four 100 loss seasons in 6 years
absolutly no urge to win by our management.
but yet i still think we'll contend in 06.

GO ROYALS!!

sorry, but no way the royals contend in 06. there's a line between fandom and kidding oneself.

That's a pretty thin line that's crossed by the vast majority of sports fans. I wouldn't fault him for that.

The Royals should move to Montreal.

but it's the royals!

at first i had typed insanity, but that's taking it a bit too far. kidding oneself probably isn't taking it far enough though, considering it's the royals.

Meh. If they didn't think they could have some cinderella season next year and make the playoffs, they would have no point in rooting for the team. Ya gotta having something to hold on to.

improvement. i'm a 49ers fan. i'm not expecting the playoffs. i'm rooting for five wins, then eight, then playoffs. improvement is a process. expecting a team to go from the worst team in the major leagues by far to winning a spot in the playoffs is batty.

Well you have to be batty to be a Niners fan, so it all works out in the end.
