Meh. If they didn't think they could have some cinderella season next year and make the playoffs, they would have no point in rooting for the team. Ya gotta having something to hold on to.

improvement. i'm a 49ers fan. i'm not expecting the playoffs. i'm rooting for five wins, then eight, then playoffs. improvement is a process. expecting a team to go from the worst team in the major leagues by far to winning a spot in the playoffs is batty.
