It was a dumb idea.....
but I'll put it up again at the risk of much ridicule....
I thought it might be cool to come up with a little story incorporating 30-40 song titles ....I put this together in like 5 minutes and it does suck but I'd like to see what some others can come up with.......
As I entered the Long Road in one of my MFC's to Kitchener I began Lukin into my Dashboard and saw a 1/2 full gas tank.
As I left my small town I looked into my RVM and noticed a
Betterman behind me in a Black(Don't Drive me I'm a) SUV
It was my good friend Jeremy. He was one of the people caught up in the Evacuation of New Orleans yesterday.
He just got Released from Prison after being accused of being a dissident after he asked a judge to just gimme some truth.
The judge treated him like a Glorified G and sentenced him to 25 to life.
Once, he and his girl Crazy Mary were on my porch and she triped and tore her corduroy pants. Thankfully a stuffed Animal was their to help help Breakerfall.
When Jeremy noticed the deep cut and the Blood he said, don't worry, I'll Save you.
A few light years ago they had a daughter. I was there and witnessed her first Breath.
At that moment I never felt so Alive or Alone.
I have a really strange habit on these long drives.
I make up a wishlist for me but not for you.
Therefore I can't name the list so it will remain Untitled.
I love to listen to my music though. Some songs make me happy, others Sad.
No matter which I still GO. It sure beats Thumbing my way.
When I get back I'll wash my car and put it away for winter.
I'll then set sail in the moonlight of the fall with the Love Boat Captain on my way to make peace because,
I Believe in Miracles.
I hope I don't encounter too many Red Mosquito's on the way.
I just hope to keep on Rocking In The Free World.
I know it sucks but give it a shot. Sleep Deprevation is a Bitch.

As I began to Wash my car, I thought to myself. "Why Go to the store?" Since gas prices continue to rise and my pockets were none too Deep, I decided, instead, to Go and see my friend. " Hail, Hail" I cried as I pulled into his driveway in my MFC. I noticed he was wearing a Corduroy jacket. I thought it was strange since it was so hot, but he usually just wears it out of Habit more than anything. After talking with him a while, I said " I Got Shit to do". Leaving him made me kinda Sad because his Brother, Jeremy, died last year. Since then, he's been sort of Alone. As I left, I noticed a dead Animal in the road. I held my Breath as I drove over the Blood-stained patch of highway. I saw a Red Mosquito and pondered of the Insignificance of life. As I passed the carcas, I looked thru the Rearviewmirror I thought of the concept of Immortality and what it would mean to truly be Alive for forever. I laughed and decided I would probably die by falling off my Porch or some by some other, equally stupid way.
Once I got back to the house, I started to clean my garage. I was moving some heavy items and suddenly I couldn't Hold On to them any more. I then realized there was no point in Whipping myself anymore. It would take a Better Man than me to clean this mess up. Since I was on a Long Road to nowhere, I decided to take my Last Exit of the day and walk to see my Girl. Of course, the first thing she said to me was " You Are late". I told her I was sorry, I was In Hiding from my next door neighbor. He was still mad at me for walking my dog without a Leash.
After settling in with my Angel for the evening, we both decided that we needed to leave this Small Town. Leaving Here was our best option. We thought of the old man that lived in a van down by the river, Yellow Ledbetter and decided that Rocking in the Free World was the way to go. With Indifference towards a destination, we started off the next morning.
Alone, I sat in the corner, pondering all those yesterdays that i had let go drifting by. In my tree in the backyard I saw birds of different colors, black red, yellow. i wanted to go and buy a pack a smokes, but the thought of an elderly woman behind the counter in a small town working a second job to be able to afford her prescriptions got me thinking about how there were one too many of the bu$hleauger types were in washington and it made me think how the world had seemed to have come undone, and the thought of cigarrettes made their last exit from my brain.
moments later, as my thoughts turned to furthering my education, like my brother, for a better life for my wife and daughter, i realized that i had been pretty faithful towards my goals, and school seemed like more of a possibilty. i was no longer out of my mind with thoughts that came from nowhere.

Glad you guys liked it. It really wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Of course, I already had half the words to choose from on a list, but it was fun. The bad part is I couldn't figure out a way to fit State of Love and Trust in there. Kinda hard to make that one make sense in something other than the context of the tune.
