I finally grabbed this the other day. There back on subpop. this and tommorw hit today sound amazing. The first song alone is possibly a level up from anything theyve ever done. I hope they keep going even though matt lukin is retired.

I like the way they've actually started writing good songs. Tomorrow Hit Today and Since We've Become Translucent = the only thing worth listening to. They're both really good records.

i agree that those two are really the mantlepieces of their catalogue, great stuff. the first song on both albums do kick major ass

I'm not a fan of SWBT at all. I'd rank it dead last as far as Mudhoney albums go. Seems like they're losing their sense of humor to me, I dunno...losing Matt was a big blow to the personality of the band.

I thought it was a pretty good album, but I would agree that it was sort of flat and humorless.

I liked SWBT but I felt like only the 2nd half of the record actually SOUNDED like a Mudhoney record. And the funny thing about it, is I REALLY love WTHT. I love that record, I think Mudhoney has definitely gotten better with age, it's a shame they cannot devote more time to the band with most of them working full-time regular jobs. I think Steve is the only who is full-time musician.
