Yes, that was the best thing to do and I'm glad he did it.

Typical mature liberal response. And you wonder why the Republicans are in control.

is anyone listening to Kerry's concession speech? it's so optimistic. If he had given this speech the night before the election, he probably would have won.

People like optimists. Instead, he trotted out his litany of complaints over and over again.

Now it's, "Things will get better more quickly than anybody imagines. Because we're America, and America always moves forward."

Where has that been?

That, imho, was the main problem with the Dem's stance. Doom and Gloom all the time. And all of the sudden optimism? Obviously he doesn't mean one or the other and that's a big part of why he lost.

I'm not so sure, I like balance. Compassionate Conservativism dosen't seem to have anything to do with being "conservative" so if they are spending money I think they should look at this stuff.......

They really need to look into regulating the drug industry for the good of all Americans.

If things don't get better all around, there will be a backlash, now that they have it, do something good with it.

Social liberty/Economic Freedom Beef up intelligence agencies. Restructure Social Security and Education (pay teachers more- pay administrators much much less vouchers etc)

Make sure troops have equipment that they need.

etc.

now that you're back in, get to work.

Regulate the drug industry? Never gonna happen now. Defense, drug, and asbestos stocks soared today after Kerry's concession. What does that tell you?

Well, at least any problems in the next 4 years: be they terrorists, the economy, the world hating us, the blame will be clear.

Hey, don't get me wrong. They've got a lot of work to do and a lot of things have to be fixed! I'm not a straight party voter. I think there needs to be changes. But Kerry wasn't one of them.
