Good on the Ukrainians for breaking through, and on the US for making it 5 in a row. COCACAF most definitely doesn't deserve 3 1/2 spots, though. 2 1/2 or 3, with 2 playoffs against UEFA, is more like it.

It's about damn time the Aussies joined the Asians. OFC has always been a joke.

A win against the French for us on wednesday will put one and a half feet for us in the finals. The Landsdowne Roar is gonna do it for us.

The 3rd CONCACAF team is always a joke, although I've been dying for Canada to slip into that spot for years, our soccer development remains crappy despite it being an extremely popular youth sport. Aside from Mexico and USA, there still isn't a CONCACAF team that can win a world cup game, imo. I have no problems with the extra slots going to UEFA. Even the mid-level UEFA teams that are on the bubble for qualifying can pull of a world cup upset.

USA will be very good this year. I wouldn't be surprised to see them make the playoff round, if they get a favorable draw.

I agree about the 3rd Concacaf team. I'd be happy if they gave it to Europe, or even South America or Africa.

I loved Mexico's coach bitching after that 2-0 loss. He calls our team a bunch of grandmothers, while he whines like a little bitch. BWAHAHA

It was especially hilarious after he ordered his thugs to foul Damarcus Beasley 4 times in the 1st half

Bye Bye Germany 2006 cause Ireland wont be there, a negative performance with very little chances (for either side) and against a relatively poor French performance. A draw would've been fair but Henry had to spoil it. If only Andy Reids shot against the post was two inches to the right!!

I'm seriously fried now

You know what, I can't think of an insult that hurts more than reality.
Northern Ireland 1
England 0

at least they didn't murder anyone ala Columbia 11 years ago when the US beat them in Pasadena. I still wish I could grow hair like Valdaramma
