I admire the guys determination. At least he tried.
I think he would've been more respected by most Americans if he had bowed out and endorsed a candidate, but that's not his style and he would've alienated his fan-base. I, too, admire his determination especially considering the amount of she he got for "losing the election for Gore."

you people do realize that if he would have dropped when his endorsers told him to, we would have kerry in office. look at the numbers. he really needs to quit it. i am all for a "more than 2 party system" , but this guy is a whackjob. once again he split the decision. i would love to have the freedom to smoke grass, but there are more important issues.

bull fucking shit!!!! any american has the inherent right to run for president! he did NOT spoil the election for Kerry this time around (or last time)... the people who voted for him did... the argument that "nader pulled votes away from kerry" is bull shit!!!!! blame it on the fuckin voters who voted for him... not him!!!!!!!

I'm not sure Nader made much of a difference this time around. He wasn't even on the ballot in most battleground states. And even when he was, you can't just assume everyone who voted for him would have voted for Kerry. I'd say, if you're still voting for Nader at this point, you're so hard-core you aren't voting for either of the major party candidates no matter what.
And here's an interesting thing about those polls leading up to the election: Bush actually had a bigger lead WITHOUT Nader in the race, for some reason.
