opened at 8.5.... currently 7
Wonder if all the articles claiming Notre Dame to be on the track to another national championship and Charlie Weis the next incarnation of God have anything to do with the spread dropping.
I'm debating going to the game -- if Michigan loses, however, I don't think I can bear to listen to the national championship talk from the ND fans (just like 3 years ago).

One of those games where I wish they could both score negative points and end in a tie. That said, I don't see ND winning this unless UofM royally sucks ass.

If Carr is smart enough to open up his offense (and I'm still quite unsure if he is), UofM shouldn't have much of a problem.

Lloyd Carr hasn't opened up his offense in the 10+ years he's been there. There's no way he's changing for Saturday's game. Reason No. 39,872 why Lloyd Carr is the most-overrated coach in college football. I loath him.

I concur. I just didn't want to rule out the chance he had some massive head injury this week that totally changed his coaching strategy.

Nah, the only coach I know of with a massive head injury is Bobby Williams . . .

I don't even think MSU's Athletic Dept at the time thought he was a good coach, it was more a fuck you to Nick Saban for deserting us. They just stuck with that f' you for far too long.

The worst thing for MSU football was the bowl win the year Saban left . . . it set the program back another 50 years.

I don't disagree. I hated Saban for leaving, but Bobby Williams rode his recruiting classes to a nice head coaching contract that's been fucking us for awhile now.
