Has anybody here seen this Oliver Stone film, it came out before Platoon, its very political but I really liked it.

I saw it back when it was first on HBO, around 1986 I guess. I was 13 and that movie really kicked my ass. It's great and really upsetting. It's one of the first movies I can ever remember being truly shaken by. Obviously, since I still remember so much of it nearly 20 years later.

Good movie. Watched it a couple of months ago. A bit longwinded and cheesy at parts, but overall very solid.

Salvador was the name I went by in my high school Spanish class.

I saw it a little later than that (16, I believe) in a film class I took in highschool. I echo the above.

Actually, I was exposed to a lot of excellent movies in that class: 2001, Cool Hand Luke, A Clockwork Orange, Citizen Kane (of course, ), Bonnie and Clyde, Night of the Living Dead, and several others.
