I like that album a lot. And I love the b-sides too. And Second Coming. And so on..

Corduroy would surely have approved of this thread.

This is one reason why Corduroy should be brought back, he was one of the few people on this board who truly appreciated the Stone Roses greatness. He even loved Second Coming, which is indeed a fantastic album, even if it doesn't hold a candle to the S/T.

I Am The Resurrection is one of my top 5 songs of all time. Just fucking incredible. It has that incredibly poppy catchy verse, and then it breaks down into that complex jazzy jam thing. Awesome.

Good idea. "So Young" (the song on your tape) really doesn't even touch the Roses greatness. You need to hear "I Wanna Be Adored" "Made of Stone" and "I Am The Resurrection" (ll on the S/T)

The remixed/remastered tracks on the "Very Best of the Stone Roses" sound stunning.

All those great songs sound even better.
