Funny, an appreciation thread, with...no appreciation in it. If you saw them live with Pearl Jam, you would agree with me, this should be a SK "why the suck" thread

I love S-K! I saw them with PJ too, and they rocked! They are so cute:) I have All Hands on the bad one, The Hot Rock, and One Beat. I want to get more of their albums. Any suggestions?

i really wish i couldve seen them open for PJ. i was on the leg of the tour that had the Buzzcocks. they were ok but i would have much preferred SK. i love the mexico 03 bootleg where corin tucker sang a few songs with the band. i especially enjoyed the version of hunger strike. her voice brought a whole new dynamic to the song

I love Sleater-Kinney! I wish I could have seen them with PJ, but they announced the third Boston show immediately after I already got tickets for Boston 2... so I couldn't. Bummer.

SK are awesome. I saw them at The Troc right in front of Corin and they really blew me away. New album is supposed to be amazing too.

This thread made me throwon their self-titled album. definatly the hardest to swallow but incredibly raw and emotional.

I had a hard time getting into S-K, but once I did, I was amazed. Saw them on the "All Hands..." tour in a small club, and it is still one of the best shows I have ever seen! I was so mad when I couldn't see them with PJ...they left the tour one week before I saw them!

i've seen sk a bunch of times in the past few years and i was so excited when i found out they were playing with pj. i thought it might be weird seeing them play in such huge venues, but i think they played better than ever and im glad to see they picked up some new fans who might never have heard them otherwise.
also, their cover of "more than a feeling" is maybe one of the best things ever.
