This documentary centers on amateur grizzly bear expert Timothy Treadwell, who periodically journeyed to Alaska to study and live with the bears. The outdoorsman and author -- along with his partner, Amie Huguenard -- was eventually killed and devoured by one of the very animals to whom he had devoted years of study.

Has anyone seen this movie yet? It looks really good and interesting. It was released on limited screens August 12th, 2005 in L.A. and N.Y. I'm hoping it will eventually be released where I live but no word of it doing so yet.

I saw a trailer. Reminded me of Steve Irwin. Except this guy is a lot less annoying, which has to be a good thing.
