Anybody else here a hardcore the band fan. There were some murmurs in other threads about them recently cause of dylan's apperance on "the last waltz", but does anybody else here really listen to just THEM a lot?

Yes, they are badass. Their last single rocked me so hard I actually peed a little down my right pant leg.

Every once in awhile I'll listen to them a lot. They are definitely one of the most talented and underrated bands of alltime. You simply need to check out The Last Waltz to understand.

Are you asking us about THEM or THE BAND? For the record, I listen to both.

Love The Band. The Last Waltz version of Ophelia has been on my "top 25 most played" list for a damned long time.

The Band rock. I don't care if it's them or them with Dylan they are such a great talent.

Well, it's hard to say exactly. Let's just say I listen to The Band a whole lot more, and I really enjoy working out thier songs on keyboard/guitar.

Almost every Rock band in history has been influenced in one way or another to The Band. At one point, Clapton wanted to join them!

Rock of Ages is one of the best live concerts ever!!!!

Also, there is wicked footage of them on Festival Express, which is a great buy. Danko, Joplin, Jerry and Bobby Weir all wacked on the Canadian Club (which is glowing I might add).....priceless!

My faves include...

Don't Do it
Ophelia
King Harvest
All of Cahoots

actually everything!
