And a couple nice Djibouti Pics... Just to warm your souls.

So I went from America, back to Djibouti, and along the way I was stuck in a hellhole known as Kuwait, then Dubai, and Addis again. This time, I was by myself and had the liberty to roam the city freely. Ethiopian Airlines was kind enough to put me up in another hotel for the night, which was a full blown business sweet. Queen sized bed, stocked fridge, TV, couches...way more than what I needed. What's remarkable is that this package is available for $75 American, including meals. Come to find out, the cost of living in Ethiopia is rather low. I got a Fanta for less than twenty cents...

On my wanderings, I took a taxi cab tour of the city. Which is important, because you must realize that all but one of these images is the seat of a taxi, and why they're all cropped.

When I went back to America, I really didn't think about how poor Djibouti was at all. Same with Addis. I don't think I really had an appreciation for how poor this city is, until I actually went and saw Addis Ababa up close and personal (I walked through some slums as shortcuts, my guide couldn't understand how I wasn't in awe of it all). The last time I went out to the market here, it was just like seeing it all for the first time again. I was in complete shock. This city is in unimaginably worse condition than Addis.
